Shailene Woodley will join Lindsay Lohan in Hulu’s upcoming limited-series adaptation of Sophie Stava’s Count My Lies, Deadline reports.

Stava’s debut novel, published in March by Gallery, follows Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who becomes a nanny for a wealthy couple, Jay and Violet Lockhart, after falsely telling them that she is a nurse. A critic for Kirkus praised the book, which was a Good Morning America book club pick, as “a page-turning thrill ride of a story from a debut novelist.”

Woodley, known for her roles in films including The Spectacular Now and The Fault in Our Stars, will play Sloane in the show, which Hulu recently greenlighted. Lohan (Freaky Friday, Mean Girls) will star as Violet. Both will executive produce, while Stava will produce. The series will be written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who previously teamed up on This Is Us and How I Met Your Father.

Stava shared news of the show being greenlighted on Instagram, writing, “The secret’s out!!! Elated to share that @shailenewoodley is joining @lindsaylohan in the @hulu limited series adaptation of my novel, Count My Lies, WHICH IS OFFICIALLY GREENLIGHTED…I am so beyond grateful and excited! If you haven’t read the book yet, now would be a good time.”
