The Texas Book Festival has unveiled its 2025 schedule, with more than 300 authors set to participate in the two-day event in downtown Austin next month.

The festival is scheduled to kick off on November 8. On that day, ticketed sessions will be held featuring Mitch Albom (Twice), Chelsea Handler (I’ll Have What She’s Having), and Ariel Sullivan (Conform), who will be in conversation with Today show co-host and book club maven Jenna Bush Hager.

Free events scheduled for November 8 include conversations with authors R.L. Stine (The Last Sleepover), Jason Reynolds (Coach), Ada Limón (Startlement: New and Selected Poems), and Skip Hollandsworth (She Kills: The Murderous Socialite, the Cross-Dressing Bank Robber, and Other True Crime Tales).

There will be two ticketed events on November 9, featuring authors Viet Thanh Nguyen (To Save and To Destroy: Writing as an Other) and Matthew McConaughey (Poems & Prayers).

Authors scheduled to hold free conversations on November 9 include Adam Silvera (The Survivor Wants To Die at the End), Angie Thomas (Nic Blake and the Remarkables: The Book of Anansi), Imani Perry (Black in Blues: How a Color Tells the Story of My People), Patricia Lockwood (Will There Ever Be Another You), and Maria Reva (Endling).

The Texas Book Festival was established in 1995 by former first lady Laura Bush and Mary Margaret Farabee. Tickets to select events, as well as a complete schedule, are available at the festival’s website.
